Akathisia is a medical condition where the sufferer experiences a painful inner restlessness and discomfort that often causes them to stay in motion all of the time, such as pacing, or leg shaking. Akathisia is a common side effect experienced from certain antipsychotic medications. This is a place to discuss akathisia, and support those who are suffering from it.
