Jirai Kei is a new emerging fashion style in Japan. It is similar to, and pulls heavily from (and some say copies directly from) previously existing Dark Girly fashion. The style's controversial name and negative associated activities have made its existence controversial, especially in Japan. However, the term continues to be used both in Japan and abroad.
