Greetings and welcome to the Metabolic Psychiatry subreddit! This community is intended for all those who are interested in metabolic psychiatry, both in the sense of biological psychiatry practice mindful of metabolic phenomena, metabolic therapies, and *omics in the general case, as well as psychiatry as viewed through the lens of the Brain Energy theory: mental illness is metabolic dysfunction of the brain; and metabolic dysfunction in turn is intricately linked to mitochondrial health.
