Lamentations of the Flame Princess is a tabletop role-playing game using old school fantasy game rules and steeped in all things strange, macabre, and weird. Inspirations include Lovecraft, Argento, Barker, the Stockholm death metal scene, Morrison, etc. Being part of the OSR family of games means that LotFP uses the Open Game License to recreate game rules of the late 70s/early 80s, and every supplement is compatible with hundreds of other RPGs, and their material is compatible with LotFP.
